... and the truth shall set you free... these are the basics that I have
learned over the past several years... I present them to you so that you
may, if you wish, advance your understanding without going through the
ordeals I have had to endure to come to these realizations...
1) Everything of consequence happens for a reason...
2) You may not like or understand the reason, but all is in divine order...
3) Divine order is not necessarily what is "best" for you, but
what is best for all concerned...
4) If you are having a problem accepting #1, #2, or #3... then let go,
and leave it to Spirit...
5) If you are reading this, you are NOT a "young" soul... pursuing
knowledge of the path is an indicator of advancement...
6) Spiritual growth requires dedication and perseverance... do not give
up or have expectations of reward... the timetable is not up to you...
you haven't the wisdom necessary to make those judgements...
7) When encountering difficult moments in your life, back up, and assess
the situation as an impartial observer would... remembering all that you
have learned... this is where the old adage, "can't see the forest
for the trees", applies...
8) Accept people and events for who and what they are... no expectations!
Everything is as it should be...
9) Eat your dessert first, cause you just never know what's going to happen!
